SCANPEBBLE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

ScanPebble is an Android document scanning and PDF utility. This notice explains how the app handles your information when you capture, manage, export or share documents, and when advertisements are available.

Camera and documents

ScanPebble requests camera permission when you open the scanner. Camera access can be denied or revoked in Android settings. Images you capture and document-library metadata are stored in the app’s local device storage. Document processing in the current application is performed on your device; ScanPebble does not require an account or upload your scanned document contents to a ScanPebble-operated server.

Storage, deletion and backups

You can delete scans from My documents. Uninstalling ScanPebble may remove its local data, subject to your device’s backup and retention settings. Exported or shared copies may remain with their destination app or storage provider after you delete the original scan. Portable backup files generated by ScanPebble are not encrypted: store them securely and do not share them publicly. Restoring a backup requires an empty document library.

Sharing and external services

When you choose to export, share or back up a document, your selected destination app, storage provider or operating system may process that file according to its own privacy practices. ScanPebble does not control those third-party destinations.

Advertising and consent

The Android application integrates Google AdMob to display advertisements. Subject to the app version, distribution channel, network availability and your choices, Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions and technical diagnostics to serve, secure and measure advertising. ScanPebble does not provide the contents of your scanned pages to AdMob for advertising.

Where required, Google’s consent-management flow is used before advertising requests. Declining optional advertising consent does not prevent access to ScanPebble’s document tools. Depending on your region and eligibility, non-personalised or limited ads may still be shown, or no advertisement may be available. See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information. Advertising integration and disclosures may differ between Google Play and Amazon Appstore distributions; the information applicable to your installed build must be consistent with its actual SDK behaviour.

Your choices

You can manage camera access in Android settings, review or delete scans in My documents, and remove app data through device settings or uninstalling the app. Copies shared with external providers must be managed through those providers. Where the app displays a privacy-options control, you can use it to revisit advertising choices.

Children

ScanPebble is a general-purpose document utility and is not designed specifically for children. Advertising and privacy settings must be configured according to the audience and regions selected for each app-store distribution.
